Ice Cream

An ice cream restaurant just opened up in my town of Povaçao. It is real ice cream that you can get in a cup or cone.

John and I tried the ice cream the day it opened (Friday, April 17th). I had chocolate and melon on a cone. John had chocolate and strawberry on a cone. We return Sunday night to tried a different couple of flavors. I had two scoops but he had three scoops. The banana ice cream is delicious.

The ice cream is made local at the restaurant in the ice cream machine. Beside ice cream you can order coffee, popcorn, or drinks.

The store is located across the street from the cybercafe, hamburger place, disco, and school. It opens in the afternoon through the evening. It is great to be able to order ice cream on a cone in my town instead of going across to the next island (Sao Vicente) for it.
