John finished with the Police Academy at the end of March but we were waiting forever to hear what island he will be working on.
September 15th, six months later, while working with his dad at the job site, the police chief called to say he is working on the Island of Boa Vista.
Meaning, we will both be working on the Island of Boa Vista and leaving the Island of Santo Antão. We are both sad to be leaving our home but it is the next journey on our road.
Santo Antão will always be our home, and we will always call it our home. Because it is our home.
This is a just a new chapter in our life together.
